Cancel for Any Reason Protection


Customers who purchase Cancel for Any Reason Protection receive additional flexibility on eligible bookings.


This protection may allow customers to cancel their booking for any reason up to 24 hours before departure, subject to the terms and conditions applicable to the selected protection plan.


Depending on the selected cover option, refunds may be issued as:


  • Cash refund
  • Travel voucher
  • Travel credit
  • Partial reimbursement


The final refund amount and refund method depend on:


  • The protection plan selected
  • Airline and supplier terms
  • Cancellation timing
  • Booking type
  • Fare conditions


Customers requesting cancellation under this protection may be asked to provide:

Refund approval is determined solely by the relevant airline, hotel, villa provider, transfer supplier, or travel service provider.


Holidays Budget acts as an intermediary between customers and travel suppliers and therefore cannot guarantee refund approval where suppliers classify bookings as non-refundable.


Booking Cancellations


Customers may request cancellation at any time before travel.


However, airline penalties, supplier cancellation fees, administrative charges, and non-refundable conditions may apply depending on the booking terms and fare rules.

Cancellation & Administration Charges


In addition to supplier or airline penalties, Holidays Budget may apply reasonable administration charges for processing cancellations, amendments, refunds, supplier coordination, banking procedures, currency conversion handling, or operational support services.


For customers booking through our Pakistan operations, applicable charges may be calculated using the prevailing local exchange rate (PKR) at the time of processing.


For customers residing or booking outside the United Kingdom and Pakistan, equivalent administrative, banking, or processing charges may apply in the applicable local currency based on prevailing international exchange rates, foreign exchange regulations, banking procedures, supplier location, and payment provider requirements at the time of transaction or processing.

Card Payment & Processing Charges


Payments made by credit card or debit card may be subject to additional payment processing charges applied by banks, merchant providers, or payment gateways.

  • American Express AMEX: Up to 5% processing fee


These charges may vary depending on:

Any applicable payment surcharge will be clearly communicated before payment confirmation.

Refunds are processed only after authorisation and approval have been received from the relevant airline, hotel, supplier, or travel provider.

Refund processing times may vary depending on:

  • Currency conversion and international transfer procedures


Where bookings involve multiple suppliers, refunds may be processed and returned separately.


Please note that Holidays Budget cannot guarantee exact refund timelines where delays are caused by airlines, suppliers, financial institutions, or third-party payment providers outside our direct control.


Supplier Cancellations & Schedule Changes


If an airline, hotel, villa provider, transfer supplier, or other travel provider cancels or significantly changes a booking, customers may be offered:


  • A refund
  • Travel credit
  • Rebooking options
  • Alternative arrangements


Available options depend entirely on the supplier’s policies and applicable regulations.


Where applicable, customers with Cancel for Any Reason Protection will be processed according to the terms of that protection.


Name Corrections & Amendments


Minor spelling corrections may be possible if reported on the same day as booking.


After this period:


  • Airlines or suppliers may apply amendment fees
  • Administrative charges may apply
  • Some bookings may require cancellation and rebooking


All amendments remain subject to airline and supplier approval.


Holidays Budget cannot guarantee amendments where suppliers restrict name changes.


Illness, Medical Emergencies & Exceptional Circumstances


Customers who purchased Cancel for Any Reason Protection may request cancellation due to:


  • Illness
  • Medical emergencies
  • Family emergencies
  • Unexpected personal circumstances


Without this protection, cancellations will follow standard airline and supplier fare rules.


Supporting documentation may be requested where applicable.


Fraud Prevention & Payment Security


Holidays Budget reserves the right to carry out payment verification, fraud screening, identity checks, and security validation procedures before issuing tickets or confirming bookings.


In certain circumstances, customers may be asked to provide additional identification documents, proof of payment, billing verification, or card authorisation forms before travel documents are released.


Holidays Budget reserves the right to refuse, suspend, cancel, or restrict bookings where fraudulent, suspicious, unauthorised, high-risk, or unlawful payment activity is suspected.


Travel Documents & Entry Requirements


Customers are solely responsible for ensuring they hold valid:


  • Passports
  • Visas and transit visas
  • Vaccination certificates
  • Health documentation
  • Travel insurance
  • Immigration and entry approvals
  • Any other required travel authorisations applicable to their destination and transit countries before travel.


Holidays Budget shall not be responsible for denied boarding, refused entry, immigration issues, visa refusals, or losses resulting from incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.


Refund Payment Method


Approved refunds are returned only to the original payment method used at the time of booking.


Refunds may be returned to:


  • Debit cards
  • Credit cards
  • Bank transfer accounts where applicable


Where Cancel for Any Reason Protection applies, refunds may be issued as:


  • Cash refund
  • Travel credit
  • Supplier voucher


For fraud prevention and security purposes:


  • Refunds cannot be transferred to another card or account
  • Refunds can only be issued to the original payer
  • Expired or replaced cards may still receive refunds through the issuing bank


Customers should contact their bank directly if they no longer have access to the original payment method.


Flight + Hotel, Villa, Car Hire & Transfer Refunds


Package bookings and multi-service bookings are processed according to the terms and conditions of the relevant suppliers.


Refunds are processed only after:


  • Airline approval is received
  • Accommodation providers confirm cancellation approval
  • Car hire or transfer suppliers authorise the refund
  • Supplier eligibility is confirmed


Please note:


  • Car hire reservations may include no-show fees
  • Villa bookings may have seasonal restrictions
  • Airport transfer services may become non-refundable close to departure
  • Package bookings may contain both refundable and non-refundable components


Because bookings may involve multiple suppliers, processing times may occasionally exceed standard flight-only refunds.


Delayed or Missing Refunds


If your refund has been approved but has not appeared after 10 working days, please contact our support team.

Refund delays caused by airlines, banks, payment providers, or suppliers are outside Holidays Budget’s direct control.

  • Understand that some bookings may be non-refundable

Please note:


Add-ons including baggage, seat selection, lounge access, insurance, airport parking, tours, excursions, and special services may be non-refundable.


Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically guarantee refund approval.


Force Majeure & Extraordinary Circumstances


Holidays Budget shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing obligations due to events beyond reasonable control including but not limited to:


  • Natural disasters
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • Government restrictions
  • Airport closures
  • Political unrest
  • War or terrorism
  • Industrial disputes or strikes
  • Air traffic control restrictions
  • Technical failures
  • Supplier insolvency


In such circumstances, refunds, credits, rebookings, or alternative arrangements remain subject to supplier policies, airline regulations, and applicable laws.


Travel Insurance


Customers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance for protection against:

General Terms Regarding Refunds & Cancellations


  • All refund requests are handled in accordance with the fare rules and cancellation policies imposed by airlines, hotels, transfer providers, car hire companies, and other travel suppliers.
  • Holidays Budget cannot override supplier-imposed restrictions on non-refundable bookings or promotional fares.
  • Any cancellation, amendment, or refund request may be subject to administrative charges in addition to airline penalties and supplier fees.
  • Refund calculations may include deductions for taxes, supplier service fees, payment processing charges, exchange rate fluctuations, and applicable administrative costs.
  • Customers are advised not to make separate travel arrangements, visa applications, or non-refundable commitments until all travel documents and confirmations have been received.
  • Holidays Budget shall not be held responsible for losses arising from missed departures, denied boarding, visa refusals, incorrect passenger information, or failure to comply with airline or immigration requirements.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports, visas, health documentation, and any required travel authorisations before travel.
  • Airlines and suppliers reserve the right to change schedules, aircraft types, routes, airports, accommodation, or operational services without prior notice where necessary.
  • In cases involving multiple suppliers, refunds may be processed separately and may arrive in multiple transactions.
  • Certain supplier refunds may only become available after travel dates have passed or after supplier reconciliation procedures are completed.
  • Holidays Budget reserves the right to request supporting documentation for cancellations relating to medical emergencies, bereavement, exceptional circumstances, or insurance claims.

Holidays Budget reserves the right to comply with all applicable:


  • Financial regulations
  • Consumer protection laws
  • Anti-money laundering requirements
  • Fraud prevention procedures
  • International sanctions regulations
  • Payment security obligations
  • Aviation and travel industry regulations where applicable to bookings, transactions, refunds, customer verification procedures, or payment processing activities.


Disclaimer


Holidays Budget acts solely as a travel intermediary and booking agent for airlines, hotels, accommodation providers, transfer companies, car hire suppliers, tour operators, and other travel service providers.


The relevant supplier remains responsible for the provision, operation, and delivery of the booked travel services.


While we make every reasonable effort to assist customers with cancellations, amendments, schedule changes, and refund requests, final decisions regarding refunds, cancellation eligibility, airline penalties, supplier charges, schedule changes, compensation claims, travel credits, or vouchers remain solely at the discretion of the relevant airline or travel supplier and subject to their applicable terms and conditions.


Holidays Budget shall not be held liable for:


  • Supplier insolvency
  • Airline operational disruptions
  • Government restrictions
  • Visa refusals
  • Force majeure events
  • Weather disruptions
  • Airport closures
  • Industrial action or strikes
  • Security events
  • Delays caused by third-party suppliers except where required under applicable law.


Governing Law & Jurisdiction


This Refunds & Cancellations Policy, together with any booking, transaction, or travel arrangement made through Holidays Budget, shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the United Kingdom and, where applicable, the laws and regulations of Pakistan for bookings processed, ticketed, or managed through our Pakistan operations.


Any dispute, claim, or matter arising directly or indirectly in connection with bookings, cancellations, refunds, payments, travel services, or supplier arrangements made through Holidays Budget shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales and, where applicable, the competent courts and regulatory authorities of Pakistan.


For customers residing or booking outside the United Kingdom and Pakistan, mandatory local consumer protection laws, financial regulations, and statutory rights applicable within the customer’s country of residence may additionally apply where required under applicable international laws or regulations.


Operational procedures, payment processing requirements, banking regulations, foreign exchange controls, taxation rules, and supplier compliance obligations may vary depending on:


  • Country of booking
  • Payment origin
  • Supplier location
  • Currency used
  • Airline or supplier jurisdiction
  • Applicable international regulations


Holidays Budget reserves the right to comply with all applicable local and international legal, regulatory, financial, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, sanctions, and payment compliance requirements relevant to the booking or transaction.


Nothing within this policy shall exclude, restrict, or limit any statutory consumer rights or legal protections available under applicable laws and regulations.
